ارتودنسی با براکت های هم رنگ دندان
در این روش درمانی ، از براکت های سرامیکی (شیشه ای) Ceramic brackets یا از براکت های کامپوزیتی(Composite brackets) بجای براکت های فلزی رایج استفاده می شود و بقیه مراحل و روش های درمانی هیچ تفاوتی با روش های معمول ندارد . در این روش سیم ارتودنسی که از بین براکت های سرامیکی گذرانده می شود ، دیده می شود و در صورت تمایل بیمار می توان از سیم های روکش دار سفید رنگ و همرنگ دندان استفاده کرد . براکت های هم رنگ انتخاب بیمارانی است که به دنبال براکت هایی با جلب توجه کمتر هستند . این براکت ها همرنگ دندان می باشند . در این روش چون براکت ها بر سطح خارجی دندانها چسبانده می شوند ، از فاصله بسیار نزدیک قابل رویت می باشد ولی در فعالیتهای روزمره بیماران کمتر دیده می شود و بیماران از نظر دیده شدن درمان ارتودنسی با این روش ابراز رضایت می کنند . همچنین باید دانست که حرکت دندانها در این روش نسبت به براکت های فلزی کندتر است ، در نتیجه درمان طولانی تر می شود .
